Steve graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. After working at Raymond Corporation, Steve left to join his father’s Rep Business- Verne Clair Associates in 1985. Steve acquired the business in 1988 and successfully grew the company for 20+years selling into both the Industrial and Electronics Industry.

Steve joined forces with Restronics in 2009. By utilizing his knowledge of the PCB Industry combined with a strong working relationship with the Electronic Distribution channels, he created a solid foundation for success with a substantial customer base in Upstate NY. Steve has enjoyed developing lifelong relationships with Principals, Customers, and Distributor sales people over the years that continue to grow every week.
Steven currently resides in Palmyra, NY with his wife Caron of 38 years. Two children have provided 4 beautiful grandchildren that keep them active while enjoying Golf and fishing.
